Pre- and Post-Congress Tours

Conferencing in Stellenbosch affords WEHC 2012 delegates a wonderful opportunity to extend their stay and discover just why Stellenbosch, Cape Town and South Africa are some of the most popular tourist destinations worldwide.

Delegates will be offered a range of travel itineraries that vary from an extended stay in Stellenbosch or Cape Town, to trips to other popular destinations around South Africa and Southern Africa.

A range of tours will be available for pre-booking and the appointed tour operator, Africa Bespoke, can create personalised itineraries on request. A tourism desk will be available at the congress for more information and for booking, but we do recommend pre-booking before the congress.

Cape Town & surrounds (4 day self‐drive package)

There is nowhere like Cape Town. Perched between the ocean and the mountain, with a national park as its heart, it´s a place to renew and reconnect. Cape Town, the "Mother City", is the oldest city in our country and has a cultural heritage spanning more than 300 years. It also has the top five national attractions in South Africa that should appear on every visitor's itinerary all year round.

Big Six Self Drive: Overberg, Garden Route, Eastern Cape (6 nights)

Take a stunning coastal drive to the Overberg town of Hermanus, legendary for its whale watching, then enjoy the peaceful Knysna Lagoon on the Garden Route, and finish off with a stylish safari at Sibuya Tented Camp in the Eastern Cape.

Garden Route Self Drive: Little Karoo and Garden Route (5 nights)
